Monty, Male*
Adoptable since 11/2018
Monty is a very spunky and lively rabbit. He is very curious and full of personality. He will demand attention from you when he wants it (and will let you know if he doesn't,) and he has no issues with new friends, both animal and human. He is very playful and likes to turn anything he can into a toy. He is not suitable for very young or small children, but would do well with a family with responsible older children. He is leash trained and enjoys going on excursions such as to the park. His adoption fee is $20.

Bellamy, Male*
Adoptable since 11/2018
Bellamy (or Bells for short) came to us with a severe skin condition and had to be treated for several months. He is now very healthy. He is a very sweet, large rabbit that has lots of energy and likes to run around and play. He likes [friendly] dogs. He is very treat motivated. He is friendly with other rabbits but would need to be de-sexed before introduction. His adoption fee is $20.

Jasper, Male*
Adoptable since 11/2018
Jasper came to us in a litter of 4, with the entire litter suffering from terrible fungal infections. They all had to undergo medical treatment for several months and had to be quarantined. He has completely healed from all health problems. Jasper is definitely an outside rabbit who likes to have a lot of open space to run and dig. He does well with other animals (but not other rabbits,) and has a very spunky personality. He would do well in a family with older children because he doesn't like being picked up or manhandled. He prefers to play at a distance and loves his treats. His adoption fee is $20.

Gene, Male*
GBNF
Gene was an approximately 10 year old male rabbit that was given up due to unforeseen circumstances. He was a former abuse case, and was rescued by a loving family who took care of all his serious medical needs and brought him back to health. The family loved him very dearly, but had circumstances arise that did not allow them to continue caring for him. With a referral from a friend, they called in to Fort Wilbur Rabbit Rescue. Normally we do not take in anything other than special needs cases (abandonment, abuse, and kill shelter rabbits), but considering his past and his age we made an exception. The family was very grateful, and Gene was transferred to our rescue location. We determined he had lost most of his vision and suffered from aching joints. He was healthy for his age, and loved to be held and groomed.
